Singapore and Bangladesh Set for Final Group C Showdown

Singapore national football team will face Bangladesh national football team in their concluding Group C fixture of the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 Qualifiers on March 31, 2026. 

Singapore head into the match as group leaders, having already secured qualification for the 2027 tournament. Their consistent performances throughout the campaign, including a 2–1 win over Hong Kong and earlier victories in the group, helped them top the standings with 11 points. 

Bangladesh, on the other hand, will aim to finish their campaign strongly after registering a notable 1–0 win over India in November 2025. Shekh Morsalin’s early goal in that match secured Bangladesh’s first victory of the qualifiers. 

The upcoming clash offers Bangladesh a chance to end on a high, while Singapore will look to maintain momentum heading into the main tournament in Saudi Arabia.
