In a big moment for Inter Kashi FC, they got their first ever Indian Super League win on February 28, 2026, by defeating Kerala Blasters FC 2–1 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi. Inter Kashi scored first with a goal from Nauris Petkevičius, and then Alfred Planas added another goal to make it 2–0. Kerala Blasters scored later, but it wasn’t enough to catch up. Planas was named Player of the Match because he helped both in attack and defense. This was special for Inter Kashi because they had just been promoted to the top league, and winning against a big club like Kerala is a sign they can compete. After this game, Inter Kashi moved up the ISL standings, showing that even new teams can surprise bigger, more experienced clubs.
