Manchester City delivered a masterclass in efficiency, dismantling Chelsea 3–0 at Stamford Bridge to move within striking distance of the top spot. The match stats reflected City’s total control; they achieved a 92% pass completion rate and limited Chelsea to just one shot on target over the 90 minutes. Young starlet O'Reilly opened the scoring in the 51st minute, followed quickly by a Marc Guéhi header in the 57th. Jeremy Doku added the gloss with a solo effort in the 68th minute, beating three defenders before slotting home. Chelsea's midfield struggled to cope with City’s high press, losing possession 14 times in their own half. Rodri was the architect of the victory, completing 104 passes, the most by any player on the pitch. This result not only intensified Chelsea’s internal crisis but also signaled City’s readiness to reclaim the Premier League throne following Arsenal's slip-up.
