The month began with a massive shock at the Santiago Bernabéu that sent ripples through the title race. Real Madrid, missing the injured Kylian Mbappé, dominated 77% of possession but failed to break down a resolute Getafe defense. In the 39th minute, Martín Satriano stunned the home crowd with a spectacular volley into the top corner. As frustration mounted, Madrid’s young talent Franco Mastantuono was sent off in stoppage time for dissent. This historic victory was Getafe’s first at the Bernabéu since 2008 and left Madrid trailing Barcelona by four crucial points early in the month.
